After more than 25 years at the helm of Flint International, co-founder Neil Burbidge has transitioned into the role of Executive Chairman. New CEO Peter Blake steps into the position committed to carrying forward Flint’s legacy as a people-driven, customer-focused business, with integrity and fairness at its core.
A Seamless Leadership Transition
Flint International has announced the appointment of Peter Blake as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a natural and carefully planned evolution in the company’s leadership.
The transition ensures continuity across the business, with Neil Burbidge remaining actively involved in Flint’s strategic direction while gradually reducing his involvement in day-to-day operations.
Board-Endorsed Leadership Change
The appointment follows careful consideration by Flint’s Board, who cited Peter’s deep understanding of the business and strong industry credentials as key factors in their decision.
“Peter’s experience within Flint as a key member of the Board, combined with his extensive background in the wider ICT industry, made him an outstanding candidate for the role of CEO. He is highly respected by those who work with him, and the Board has every confidence that Flint will continue to thrive under his stewardship.”

Having worked closely together for several years, Peter and Neil share a strong alignment in values, leadership approach, and long-term vision, ensuring the transition represents evolution and continuity.
A Strong Foundation for the Next Chapter
Peter brings nearly 20 years’ of experience as a company director, including five years at Flint as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), alongside a background as a qualified accountant with an MBA. His career spans technology and professional services organisations, where he has operated at board level and guided businesses through periods of transformation and growth.
Most recently, Peter led a significant restructure of Flint, strengthening governance, financial discipline, and operational foundations to support the company’s next phase of growth.
His strategic leadership is underpinned by a commitment to integrity and fairness, a belief in long-term relationships, and a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset that balances ambition with real-world delivery.
The Role of Executive Chairman
As Flint continues to scale globally, the Board determined that, given the company’s size, multicultural footprint, and international complexity, the creation of an Executive Chairman role was the right next step.
Neil agreed to accept the role, enabling him to remain closely involved in Flint’s development while supporting a smooth and structured handover to the new CEO.
“It has been a privilege to lead Flint as CEO, and I am proud of what the team has achieved together. I am delighted to continue supporting the business as Executive Chairman, working closely with Peter and the wider leadership team as Flint enters its next stage of growth.”

In his new role, Neil will continue to provide strategic guidance, maintain key customer and partner relationships, and support the leadership team with continuity and perspective.
What’s Ahead for Flint International
As CEO, Peter will focus on investing further in people, skills, and leadership across the business, while continuing to evolve Flint’s service portfolio. This includes expanding the company’s managed services offering alongside its established staff augmentation, content development, and training services. It also involves embedding AI capabilities to deliver meaningful, measurable value for customers.
“This leadership structure provides the right balance of continuity, experience, discipline, and ambition. Together, we are aligned on Flint’s future as a people-driven, customer-focused business that continues to innovate and deliver increasing value.”
