Thriving Through a Time of Big Changes and Challenges
Only eight months into operation, Flint SI faced what would become one of the major economic challenges of the 21st century—the COVID-19 pandemic. While our team quickly adapted to working from home, organising our home offices and moving all communication online, training delivery posed a great unknown. Before the pandemic, our technical instructors delivered most courses on-premises. With travel restricted and the uncertainty of when things would get back to “normal”, our instructor team quickly adapted to the new normal–delivering trainings remotely from their home offices.
Throughout the pandemic, our team at Flint SI made it a priority to stay connected and check in with each other. Although we only saw each other sporadically for nearly two years, the team spirit remained strong, and the team grew too – from 37 employees at the end of 2019 to 57 at the beginning of 2023, when the World Health Organization declared the end of the pandemic. Currently, our team is comprised of more than 60 full-time employees and a steady group of contractors, who are just as much an important and integral part of our team.
The incredibly vast amount of knowledge and the willingness of Flint employees to share it and help co-workers is probably my favourite thing about working at Flint SI. You can learn anything; you just need to ask, and you can always count on your team to have your back, both professionally and personally.

Sustainable Growth as the Cornerstone of Stability
The tech sector is one of the most rapidly changing economic sectors, with innovations and advancements emerging constantly. Ensuring stability through sustainable growth has been important to us at Flint SI, not just to attract the best talent, but also to deliver consistent high-quality services to our partners and clients.
Our business has grown consistently throughout the last five years exceeding our expectations and our partners’ too. In 2023, we had a record revenue of more than eight million, nearly doubling from our first full year of operations in 2020. Learning Services have been our most in-demand services, with Content Development and Professional Services projects also doubling since 2020. We are particularly proud of the meaningful relationships we have built with our partners, that are based on mutual trust and respect.
We are incredibly proud and thankful that we have been able to build a stable and thriving company in a time of great changes and challenges. Our revenue has grown steadily and so has our team and the ties with our customers and partners. We are now looking forward to the next big stage in tech – the evolution that AI brings.

1379 Courses in 5 Years
Flint SI’s core business is the creation and delivery of training courses for various tech solutions, encompassing data center, enterprise networking, software, orchestration and application technologies. Our content developers, designers, SMEs, and technical instructors work tirelessly to develop high-quality learning content for our partners and customers. This content combines technical academic knowledge with hands-on experience that our engineers gather from real-life customer projects.
In five years—or 1,826 days, to be exact—our team of technical instructors delivered 1,379 training courses over 2,192 delivery days. Due to COVID restrictions, only around 15% of those courses were delivered on-site. However, these numbers are rapidly increasing since all travel restrictions have been lifted.
We’ve also seen an uptick in Professional Services projects, especially when combined with Learning Services into Mentored Services. Mentored Services combine the best of both worlds – sharing in-depth knowledge with our clients’ engineers while implementing real-life projects, giving them hands-on experience in a familiar environment.
Supporting Our Partners and Customers Right Where They Need It
Professional Services have been an integral part of our business, offering partners and customers project engagements with a flexible, expandable scope, and on-premise or remote engagements. Our dedicated engineers support them with the setup, installation, upgrading, and expansion of their IT infrastructures. Over the last five years, we’ve seen a growing demand for these services, and many one-off projects have turned into ongoing engagements.
Our engagements also include workshops to educate our partners’ and customers’ engineers, ensuring they feel fully equipped and comfortable operating additions to their infrastructures. These workshops are set up and led by the project’s engineers, who are also experienced technical instructors. Our customers frequently commend these workshops, making them some of the most highly regarded aspects of our service offerings.
