The Vision Behind Women of Flint
The Women of Flint initiative was created to provide a safe, structured, and leadership-supported space where women across Flint can connect, learn from one another, and grow professionally. We recognized a need to strengthen representation at senior levels and to create visible pathways for women to progress into leadership positions.
The initiative, led by Audrey Cauvin and Ewa Luczejko, was officially launched in March to celebrate International Women’s Day. Our inaugural guest speaker was Flint Slovenia Managing Director Nina Hudnik, who was recently named one of Slovenia’s Top 3 Young Managers. Nina’s session attracted significant interest across the company, confirming there is a real appetite for spaces where women can connect, learn from one another, and openly share experiences.
While still in its early stages, Women of Flint is already growing into a vibrant and supportive global community. Because Flint is a highly distributed company with many employees working remotely across different countries and time zones, creating genuine human connection matters even more to us. Despite the distance, we are building a community that feels close, welcoming, and supportive.

Growing Stronger, One Connection at a Time
Our approach is intentionally collaborative. Rather than deciding topics from the top down, we regularly ask our community what they would find most valuable. Future workshops and discussions are shaped directly by those preferences, ensuring the initiative evolves around real needs and interests.
Although we’re only a few months in, we are already seeing exciting early progress. Alongside our regular sessions, we have introduced informal monthly virtual coffee chats. These create relaxed 30-minute conversations where colleagues can connect, exchange experiences, or simply talk about everyday life. These moments may seem small, but they play an important role in helping relationships and trust grow naturally across teams and locations.
Another important milestone for the initiative has been the launch of our monthly newsletter, The Spark. Each edition highlights a different employee, helping others across the organization get to know the talented women we have in the team. We create a platform that enables us to celebrate achievements, share stories, recognize contributions, and create visibility for women across Flint.
There’s a Place for You Here
We are in the process of introducing a mentorship programme that will connect employees with experienced professionals across the company. While Women of Flint focuses on supporting women in technology and helping them succeed in what is still often a male-dominated industry, we are equally grateful for the strong support we continue to receive from our male colleagues. Many have already expressed interest in contributing to mentorship and knowledge-sharing opportunities, and we see this collaboration as essential to building a truly inclusive culture.
At Flint, we know that diversity alone is not enough, people also need an environment where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. Women joining Flint will find more than just career opportunities here. They will find a community of people who genuinely care about one another’s success and who are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.
As the initiative continues to evolve, our ambition remains simple: to support, inspire, connect, and help more women grow into leadership roles while building a stronger and more inclusive company for everyone.
