Data Center Network Operation Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Center Network Operation Engineer to join the design and operations team of a client operating in the utilities sector, located in North Rome. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing the evolution of the client’s Data Center infrastructure, ensuring the operational continuity of business services.
Responsibilities
- Manage changes (Change Management).
- Handle Capacity Management and Performance Analysis.
- Manage the Data Center infrastructure, whether traditional or fabric-based.
- Produce and maintain documentation.
- Support the operations team in more complex analysis activities.
Technical Requirements
- Good theoretical understanding of Cisco ACI technology.
- Operational knowledge and hands-on expertise with Access Policy in Cisco ACI.
- Knowledge of the ACI policy model and ACI External Routing (L3Out).
- Skills in dynamic routing protocols.
- Knowledge of MPLS technology.
- Understanding of security and load-balancing concepts in a Data Center environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Data Center/Cloud environments or Service Provider organizations.
- Cisco certifications.
- Experience gained in complex environments.
Operational Details

| Work Model | Initially on-site at the client’s premises to gain know-how about processes and team building, followed by a hybrid model with 2-3 days of remote work per week. |
