We are looking for an experienced Network Consulting Engineer with strong Data Centre networking experience, particularly around ACI, Nexus switching, data centre migrations, routing, switching and troubleshooting.
The role will focus on supporting enterprise customers with the design, deployment, migration, optimization and troubleshooting of complex data centre network environments. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, communicating with customers, and supporting both technical delivery and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, deployment and optimization of data centre network solutions.
- Work with ACI fabrics, Nexus switches and related data centre networking technologies.
- Assist with data centre migrations, upgrades, configuration changes and troubleshooting.
- Review and implement network changes following agreed processes and change windows.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, connectivity, segmentation and performance issues.
- Work closely with customer technical teams, project managers and internal stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration notes, implementation plans and handover materials.
- Participate in technical calls, workshops and status updates.
- Escalate complex issues when needed and support resolution through structured troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in data centre networking.
- Good knowledge of ACI, Nexus switching and data centre fabric concepts.
- Solid routing and switching knowledge at CCNP level.
- Experience with technologies such as VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, STP, vPC, LACP and routing policies.
- Experience with data centre migrations, upgrades or transformation projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across L2/L3 networking.
- Ability to work directly with customers and explain technical topics clearly.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NX-OS, Nexus 7K/9K, data centre interconnects or multi-site environments.
- Exposure to automation, scripting or infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience in large enterprise or service provider environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center or equivalent.
