About the Role
We are looking for a Data Center Network Engineer to join the design team of a client operating in the utilities sector, located in North Rome. The selected candidate will play a key role in guiding the evolution of the client’s Data Center infrastructure, ensuring technical direction, project oversight, and operational coordination of the teams involved.
Responsibilities
- Execute the design guidelines by implementing the different evolutions of a Cisco ACI MultiSite/MultiPod architecture.
- Supervise the activities of the teams dedicated to implementing the planned evolutions.
- Coordinate internal technicians and external vendors responsible for managing project-related services.
- Support the operations team in more complex analysis activities.
Technical Requirements
- Strong theoretical understanding of Cisco ACI technology.
- Knowledge of MultiPod and MultiSite architectures.
- Ability to supervise technical teams and delivery activities.
- Good knowledge of networking topics and Data Center infrastructures.
- Skills in complex routing.
- Knowledge of MPLS technology.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with hybrid cloud solutions.
- Ability to integrate on-premises and cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Data Center/Cloud environments or Service Provider organizations.
- Cisco Professional certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
- Experience gained in complex or international environments.
