For our client – worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies – we are currently looking for a Resident Security Engineer.
About the Role
The tasks to be performed by Resident Security Engineer are:
- Support for managing configuration and software changes
- Request change approvals
- Preparation of changes with different stakeholders
- Execution of the change including previous and subsequent checks
- Problem Management Support
- Technical support for incidents
- Problem solving
- Troubleshooting
- Webex meeting attendance with TAC/Business Units
- Preparing and running tests for new features, configurations, software versions, etc.
- Support for automation activities
- Support in equipment renovations, installation, decommission, etc.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years performing first-level operator/support tasks in corporate SOCs
- Knowledge of Cisco security products and solutions
- English B2
- Spanish – fluent
- Technical knowledge in Cisco DUO, ESA, Firepower, Multicloud Defense, CSW and WSA solutions
- Incident management systems
- Basic understanding of the OSI model
- Basic knowledge of operating systems
- Problem management and resolution
- Systems administration
- A Bachelor’s degree in Systems or Telecommunications
