We are looking for an experienced Consulting Engineer to support customers through the full technical lifecycle of complex enterprise technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical delivery skills with customer-facing communication, business awareness, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers design, deploy, optimize, troubleshoot, and adopt solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end technical lifecycle of customer solutions, including design, deployment, migration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer issues, performance concerns, and solution improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions that support long-term customer success and adoption.
- Create clear, high-quality customer-facing technical documentation, including implementation guidance, troubleshooting notes, and best-practice materials.
- Support customers in becoming more self-sufficient by delivering practical technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and enablement content.
- Maintain awareness of relevant market technologies, competitor products, and interoperability considerations within customer environments.
- Contribute to reusable internal assets such as automation scripts, templates, delivery playbooks, and technical documentation.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve delivery efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase focus on high-value customer activities.
Required Experience
- Strong background in consulting engineering, professional services, technical delivery, or customer-facing solution engineering.
- Experience designing, deploying, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise technology solutions.
- Ability to work across the full technical lifecycle, from initial design through deployment, migration, operations, and support.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, engineering, and support.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to create professional technical materials for customers and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in automation, reusable delivery assets, and continuous improvement of technical delivery methods.
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise networking, cloud, security, collaboration, data centre, or infrastructure technologies.
- Exposure to automation scripting, AI-assisted productivity tools, or delivery process optimization.
- Understanding of customer success, renewals, adoption, and long-term customer value.
- Knowledge of vendor and competitor technology landscapes.
