For our client – worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies – we are currently looking for a Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader.
Responsibilities:
The Customer Delivery Architect is a critical customer-facing role that requires the instinctive ability to recognize customer capabilities gaps and translate them into business requirements and an execution strategy. The solutions typically span horizontally across architectural boundaries and target solutions to business challenges and drive outcomes in the customer environment.
It is expected that the Customer Delivery Architect will be delivering outcomes for Professional Services engagements, with responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
- Support account teams in the Utilities industry on new opportunity development by contributing to technical discussions and building digitization journeys with customers and internal Cisco teams
- Assist in scoping customer engagement activities for input into the customer pre-sales process
- Deliver technical, solution, and business architectural presentations to Utility customers
- Drive solution led selling to customers in cooperation with account teams
- Serve as an Enterprise Architecture Trusted Advisor for Utilities customers and craft a cross architecture vision and roadmap
- Understand customer technology roadmap and proactively design and develop customized solutions
- Translate customer requirements to develop customer solutions, whole offers and customer projects
- Showcase and continuously develop strong competitive technical expertise in the Utilities space to differentiate Cisco’s responses to RFPs
- Communicate and educate generalist teams on key technical solutions and Utility industry-specific vertical designs/architectures
- Design and apply technical solutions and architectures working with the generalist engineers and architects

Who You Are:
The Customer Delivery Architect is often a highly seasoned architect who has experience leading multiple projects and has usually performed in a variety of different roles in that life cycle.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, or related field; Master’s is a plus
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in architecture design focused on Industrial solutions in the Utilities space
- Understanding of professional services
- IoT background managing large, complex, technology sales requiring C-level executive engagement
- Understanding of Utilities industry business processes
- Technical background in Networking (routing/switching/wireless), Security and Software
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong sales expertise
- Strong project delivery expertise
- Solid knowledge of enterprise routing and switching and knowledge of datacenter switching and ACI (nice to have)
- Language Requirements: English and Italian
- CCIE nice to have
