Internal Recruiter – Delivery Consultant

Flint Consulting are a provider of technical services to the ICT industry in the UK, Europe and throughout EMEAR. We are hiring an Internal Recruiter to join our growing and supportive team. It is an exciting time to join our close-knit business as we grow and evolve.

Flint understands the recruitment market has become awash with KPIs, difficult targets and a lack of work-life balance. Here at Flint, we don’t have any crazy KPIs, we don’t ring a bell and we don’t work silly hours. Instead, you will be supported, coached and given realistic recruitment targets. We are looking for someone who loves technology, thinks differently about recruitment and is keen to leave behind the vicious KPI driven cycle.

We currently have a team of five internal recruiters who work across multiple key vendors within the Technical and Telecoms space, delivering project-based resources as well as hiring non-technical resources within the business.

Our job is not limited to just recruitment, our teamwork side by side with the Flint engineers, project managers and directors to design the future of the business. We help select and implement new systems, create new business processes and train new starters.

Gone are the days of cold calling BD, phone call statistics and sending dozens of candidates to one position in the hope one will get it. In Flint, we build strong relationships with our customers, candidates and colleagues, and have a well-respected name within the Tech and Telco space for delivering high-quality candidates.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver on roles across multiple vendors and countries.
  • Build solid relationships with candidates and key stakeholders.
  • Work with the senior business to help design the future of Flint.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create job ads for current openings.
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and job boars).
  • Screen CVs and applications and update candidates on hiring processes.
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews.
  • Report to hiring managers the status of open positions.
  • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance.
  • Determine qualification criteria for each position.
  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process.
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate.
  • Attend Recruitment Events.
  • Help new hires onboard.
  • Follow key Flint processes.
  • Develop and work on a personal Continuous Personal Development Plan.

  • Technical Recruitment and/or Resourcing experience. Pref within the Cloud and/or Virtualisation areas.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and CV databases.


  • Mercury Experience
  • Experience in recruiting within:
    • Network automation
    • Virtualisation
    • NFV
    • SDWAN
    • Additional areas of interest: Cisco ACI, SD-Access, DNA-Centre



  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrate understanding of confidentiality.


  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting.



  • Previous experience of business partnering with department heads/internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience gained from a Technical Recruiter role.
  • Experience in negotiation and consultation with a range of stakeholders.


  • Experience in working in a complex business.
