As a Technical Services Project Manager, you will lead customers, partners, and internal teams in deploying Splunk solutions. This role demands a combination of management acumen, technical expertise, and a passion for achieving outstanding customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical deployment projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, aligning tasks, milestones, and resource allocation to Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Ensure resource planning and management to meet customer obligations and budget expectations.
- Deliver timely and accurate project status updates to all stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Handle technical project escalations, ensuring resolution and clear communication with all parties involved.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project methodologies aligned with Professional Services offerings.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Identify and promote opportunities for additional Splunk products and services to meet evolving customer needs.
- Stay current with Splunk products, industry best practices, and project management skills through continuous learning.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management or service delivery management; PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of leading complex customer projects with cross-functional teams using both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with a software vendor or SaaS environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Splunk or related big data technologies, with a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while working independently and remotely.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, attention to detail, organization, confidence, and initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver effective executive presentations.
