
For our client, we are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to work in a hybrid capacity in Krakow, Katowice or Warsaw.
Minimum Requirements

- Auditing and financial statements exposure

Key Responsibilities
- Manage statutory and tax compliance
- Lead relationships with outsourced statutory/tax service providers to ensure compliance, timely execution, local filings, and audits.
- Act as the main point of contact for statutory/tax compliance vendors, ensuring the local General Ledgers are maintained accurately.
- Review and provide assurance on all areas of the General Ledger, including reconciliations and GAAP differences.
- Prepare or review local financial statements (IFRS or similar) for countries in
- Serve as a key focal point for escalation matters and manage relationships with local authorities when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Tax team on annual tax package execution and segmented P&L
- Ensure compliance-related audit activities for both internal and external
- Work closely with Process Leads (Opex, Cash, Intercompany transactions, Fixed Assets, Payroll Accounting) to ensure accuracy of entity-level financials during the month-end close.
- Coordinate with the P&L Manager to ensure proper and policy-aligned booking of OPEX and balance entries.
- Act as a key escalation point for issue resolution, working with various partners and
- Conduct periodic balance sheet reviews at the entity
- Engage with Business Units at the entity level for periodic reviews (sales finance, ).
- Build strong business partnerships with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow and effective control over data sources.
Skills Required
- Proven experience working across geographies and social boundaries
- Minimum of 8 years in accounting operations
- Ideally, at least 3 years of relevant experience in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP knowledge is an advantage)
- Ability to interpret and apply local and GAAP requirements quickly
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (essential)
- Experience with Hyperion (advantageous)
- Experience with Oracle (advantageous)
- Program and project management experience (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills in English (essential)
