We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in finance, accounting, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional analytical skills, capable of breaking down complex financial requirements into actionable solutions. This role requires expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, as well as a keen ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with S&L leaders to develop projections based on data analysis and ensure financial transparency.
- Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes.
- Analyze variances between Actuals, Forecast, and Plan to provide strategic recommendations.
- Lead and contribute to the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives.
- Utilize tools such as Business Objects, Fin BI Essbase (Fetch), Oracle, iProcurement, SI, CG1, and Hyperion for business reporting.
- Partner in the Month and Quarter End manual account reconciliation process.
- Evaluate business trends to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and build financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure integrity of financial communications and provide insights to support data-driven decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7+ years of core Finance experience.
- Strong finance/accounting knowledge with experience in operational reporting and analysis.
- Highly proficient in Excel, including Macros and advanced financial modeling.
- Experience with data mining, Business Objects, and SmartView is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across virtual teams.
- Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-changing business needs.
