HR Analyst

Our client, a global technology leader that designs, manufactures, and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment, and other high-technology services and products to power the internet and connect people and devices securely, is currently looking for a: HR Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract;
Location: Munich, Germany

The Country HR Representative will provide HR operations and administration support in Germany.

Who You’ll Work With

You will work under direction of the Country Support leader for EMEA and be a member of the HR Country Team aligned to Germany. You will partner very closely with broader HR teams and HR specialists, including Shared People Support, Global Staffing Administration, Employee Mobility, Acquisitions, Benefits delivery team and with Payroll. We are an agile team of HR professional experts across the globe. This team brings together local & global communities into one dynamic team that can help elevate our people local experience in the best hybrid work environment.

In this role, you could be working on delivering a number of core activities:

  • Support new employee onboarding, ensuring a successful and compliant start in the new role or location.
  • Support our employees in complex life transitions and escalations, creating moments that matter by helping them connect to the most appropriate benefit or policy to support them and their families.
  • Support employee data collection, based on local requirements, for benefits and compensation purposes from day one.
  • Support local country processes and documentation for new employee acquisitions
  • Provide support with local expertise for a variety of programs conceived and driven by HR, mostly in service of Employee Engagement
  • Proactively maintain compliance calendar and data associated with each compliance report, satisfying legal requirements to minimize risk to our client. Where employee action is required, handle communication and drive to 100% completion rates
  • Provide an outstanding employee experience by coordinating (directly or indirectly) the entire benefits lifecycle for an employee (i.e. medical/life insurance, pension, etc.) in partnership with our global and local vendors.

Who You Are

  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of previous experience in HR administration/operations for Germany.
  • Subject matter expertise or strong curiosity about local employment law and culture
  • Strong written and oral communication in English and German
  • Applies knowledge of benefits and other human resources-related policies and programs for effective and accurate resolution.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-starter and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork.
