For our client – a worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies – we are currently seeking a highly skilled Hardware Development Test Engineer.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our team in order to support the process of developing high-speed optical interfaces for transmission over fiber. Our testing procedures involve automated test setups, and we are looking for a skilled individual to implement and execute scripts within these automated test setups.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing data transmission-related equipment. This role involves providing technical support to team members, defining and coordinating corrective action changes, and contributing to the creation of documentation and test specifications. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test data transmission-related equipment.

Job Qualifications
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with measurement hardware and test automation.
- Use of automation software in Python to test hardware in an automated environment.
- Develop scripts in an automated test environment and execute tests.
- Operation and debug of new test setups.
Desired Skills
- Analysis of test results from various test setups.
- Documentation of test results.
- Troubleshooting bugs and problems reported in the problem report tool(s).
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well in an international team environment.
Project length: up to 18 months with a possibility of prolongation.
