The Team
The event program managers are responsible for delivering industry-leading customer events that increase brand awareness, drive the pipeline, and support revenue growth.
The role sits in the Event Program Managers team under the UK & North Marketing Team but has a close working relationship with local Marketing teams. It collaborates with content experts, Sales, Architecture and product teams, and external agencies to plan, activate, and measure Events.
We are seeking an Event Manager who will execute various small to mid-size (30-100 people) and one or two large-size (500-1000) in-person and virtual events annually.
Role & Responsibilities
The Event Marketing Manager will support all customer events within pre-defined territories by crafting engaging virtual & in-person event experiences to communicate our story and drive awareness and demand while aligning with core marketing campaigns and disciplines.
- Activate Event Requests and input needs, driving effective engagements that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Lead and manage the Go-To-Marketing Event Calendar for the region as a single source of truth for approved events, aligning with the region’s plans.
- Work closely with the Local Marketing Team to plan, consolidate, and communicate on live, virtual, and on-demand events.
- Program and project management for defined events from start to
- Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and objectives, manage expectations and communications from inception through delivery and follow-up.
- Manage success matrix reporting for all events to measure the impact. A demand generation approach and lead management knowledge is a must.
- Work with the Global Strategic Event Team to ensure contractual and compliance
- Work on processes such as Event website, agenda, registration, invitation, Email Comms, event promotion, Event follow-up, leads, and brand engagement while ensuring an excellent Customer Experience.
- Use the CVENT Registration Platform to create and manage registration
- Lead participation at select 3rd party industry events where we act as Event Sponsor for key
Programs Managed
Engage Events (30-100 people):
These events are initiated by other teams and departments by the sales and marketing teams.
There will be 10 to 15 of them per quarter, and the event manager’s role includes:
- Registration process support with
- Data and lead management
- Tagging, tracking, and reporting guidance and
- Go-To-Market-Event Calendar
Connect Events (500-1,000 people):
The event program managers will manage these marketing-funded flagship events from conception to complete execution. These events are a top priority for countries, and all local teams will be involved in execution and delivery. There will be one or two of them per year, and the event manager’s role includes:
- Project
- Preparation of the program together with architecture
- Location
- Briefing and providing all creative assets (Experience design).
- Registration process with
- All marketing aspects, including website
- Agenda and Content Management, including speakers (internal and external).

- Financial assistance (POs, partner funding management, and compliance).
Minimum Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Minimum 4 years of Event Management experience in a similar role within a global
- Willing to learn and motivated to adopt different event tools as needed within our Technology
- Natural leader, highly organized, and an excellent project
- Ability to handle various priorities within the
- A standout colleague within a larger organization, engaging with different functions and
- Willing to collaborate and learn with local Marketing teams to provide an outstanding event experience end-to-end.
- Experience with event tools and processes is a plus, including registration and website management via Cvent or similar, MS Office, and marketing automation tools.
- High-level verbal, written, and positive
- Ability to think
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including internal and external
- Able to work in a complex, policy-driven work environment, handling multiple projects at the same time.
- Good financial and compliance expertise regarding
- English & other pan-European language
