We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to plan, organize, and oversee the successful execution of events. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality events while maintaining budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in event management and a proven ability to handle logistics, teams, and vendors effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan events in collaboration with clients, including defining goals, themes, and budgets.
- Manage event logistics: oversee venues, programs, guest coordination, catering, and marketing activities.
- Select, negotiate, and supervise event vendors, suppliers, and event staff.
- Supervise the event lifecycle: set-up, on-site execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor and track event expenses, ensuring alignment with the established budget.
- Review and approve invoices and maintain financial accuracy.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular updates, coordination, and post-event evaluation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and on-site event execution.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for event-related activities.
