
For our client – worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies – we are currently looking for a Delivery Engineer – Assurance (UAA).
Role Summary
Reporting to Director, Delivery Architecture as a Delivery Engineer, you will play a key post-sales technical role focused on assisting customers use the product as well as design and deliver solutions for the company’s product/portfolio.
- You will interact with customers daily, working on production and deployment issues and providing feedback to the development teams to help resolve issues quickly.
- You will use your monitoring and debugging skills to collect all the needed logs with minimal access and help provide the same to concerned department for resolution.
- You will bring customer feedback to the Account/PLM/R&D communities to help improve product functionality in future releases.
- You will provide weekly updates on the execution and status of projects.
- You will ensure overall customer deployment plans and timelines are driven to success and any limiting issues are successfully driven through the team.
Common Tasks
This position requires significant knowledge and professionalism gained from years of OSS domain (Assurance, Order Orchestration, Inventory, Provisioning, NFV, MSO, etc) delivery and implementation experience. Tasks include providing Delivery and Implementation Product implementation, configuration, extensions and integrations. Professional Services best practice expertise and Telecommunications experience with clients, the Professional Services practice and the greater organization. Provide delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Has database, core applications and web technology knowledge. Has specific experience in implementing systems integrations.

- Languages: Perl, Python, HTML, Java, Angular, Yang
- Experience in the following:
- Operating systems: Linux/Unix
- Kubernetes
- Languages: JAVA, Python, Shell Scripting
- Database(s): PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Clickhouse etc
- Deployment environment: Kubernetes, Docker, microservices
- Deployment experience in cloud-based environment AWS/Azure.
- Knowledge of SQL an advantage
- Exposure to Apache Kafka stream processing platform
- Monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana
- SNMP, Syslog, ICMP, SSH and retrieval
- REST APIs
- Experience supporting mission critical highly available (HA) systems.
- Source Control (svn, github) and Ticketing systems (JIRA, salesforce, other).
- Project methodologies (Agile, Feature Driven Design, Waterfall, Iterative)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies such as 4G/5G Mobility, VNF/CNF, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, Optical Transmission, SD-WAN, Network Orchestration, Network Analytics (AI/ML, Anomaly Detection, etc), Fault/Performance/SLA Management.
- Experience working with and presenting technical solutions to engineering organizations
- Excellent knowledge of user-centred requirements for network assurance solutions.
