Responsibilities
- Lead small projects to achieve on-time, within budget, high- quality delivery while achieving customer satisfaction
- Responsible for project metric tracking, and managing project financials and profitability
- Identify risk, issues and develop risk response strategy
- Lead or support execution of contract Change Management process
- Manage Partner delivery and commercials when 3rd party technical delivery resources are engaged
- Conduct project support activities
- Build Cisco’s project community by sharing lessons learned,
- Best practices and participating in the PMO Role Community
Scope
- Project Specialist in Theatre: typically focused on up to ten (10) small customer projects when working as a Project manager
- Program Environment: Assigned to one (1) or more programs, providing project support
- CXC Project Support Team: Assigned to transactional activities across multiple projects
Complexity
- Low to moderate risk profile
- Low volume of dependencies
- Solution uses new or existing technology
Expertise
- College/University degree or equivalent plus 2-4 years related experience within a project management environment in comparable industry; ideally (not required) in an IT/Telco centric organization
Project Specific
- Skills: Good communication skills, very good organizational skills, excel skills, ownership
- Competencies: ability to work with short deadlines, proactiveness, thoroughness
- Language Requirements: N/A
- Certifications: Any ITIL certification is a benefit
