
We are looking for a skilled Consulting Engineer to join our NOC Routing and Switching Team. This role requires strong foundational experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies, and a proactive approach to managing network operations in a high-demand environment. Familiarity with queue or bin management is a strong advantage.
Team Overview:
You will be part of a high-performing Network Operations Center team dedicated to ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise-grade network infrastructures for key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents using innovative, analytical approaches.
- Conduct in-depth investigations and simulations to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
- Use internal databases and diagnostic tools to support rapid issue resolution.
- Stay up to date on Cisco technologies and network advancements.
- Develop strong client relationships by delivering consistent, high-quality technical support.
- Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
- Follow and enforce incident management procedures in line with SLAs and performance KPIs.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers to support team growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a NOC environment managing Cisco networking equipment.
- Solid understanding of Cisco protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Multicast, HSRP, TCP/IP, IPSec, Frame-Relay.
- Experience with SD-WAN, ThousandEyes, or Splunk is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
