We are looking for an experienced Consulting Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced networking solutions for enterprise customers. You will work closely with clients to ensure technology alignment with business outcomes, contribute to project execution, and drive technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network solutions for customer projects.
- Support pre-sales efforts by translating business requirements into solution designs.
- Build lab simulations to resolve complex technical problems and validate solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, knowledge transfer sessions, and best practice advice.
- Assist with technology transitions, migrations, and network upgrades.
- Act as a primary technical advisor for assigned customer engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the development of technical knowledge assets.
Scope
- Collaborate with technical teams and customer stakeholders.
- Provide input to the sales team on solution strategies.
- Travel within EMEA region as needed.
Complexity
- Work on moderately complex technical challenges, evaluating multiple alternative solutions before decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP stack, and enterprise network architectures.
- Ability to create technical documentation (e.g., HLDs, LLDs, migration plans) and communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Experience with network migration planning and execution.
- Hands-on expertise in technologies such as Software-Defined Access (SDA), SDWAN, and network management solutions is desirable.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and adjacent networking technologies is a plus.
