We are seeking a Consulting Engineer to support complex Data Center and networking projects across the European region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot modern infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design, implementation, execution, and optimization of customer technology projects.
- Plan, design, configure, and troubleshoot solutions to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Assist customers with the integration and deployment of tools, systems, and service assurance frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs and support presales activities.
- Create customer simulations in test environments to validate complex solutions and address compatibility issues.
- Deliver documentation, portals, knowledge transfer, and customer-specific materials.
- Align technical deliverables with business outcomes and customer success.
- Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.
- Communicate effectively at all seniority levels, particularly during escalations.
- Comply with internal policies and leverage relevant tools to ensure successful project execution.
Role-Specific Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong, long-term relationships with customers across Europe.
- Lead or participate in complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex, cross-functional issues (networking, ACI, VXLAN, network management, automation).
- Test and validate solutions in internal labs.
- Provide technical support during software and hardware upgrades.
- Join regular status meetings and ad-hoc technical interactions with customers.
- Manage deliverables independently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Support Project Managers with project tracking and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with other Consulting Engineers across different technology domains to maximize resource efficiency.
- Regular interaction with customers, project teams, and management.
Complexity
- Work on moderately complex problems, weighing multiple alternatives before recommending the best solution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Networking and Data Center solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (ACI, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, vPC, QoS).
- Solid understanding of Data Center concepts, architectures, and trends.
Desired Skills (Competitive Advantage)
- Hands-on experience with Nexus devices and practical experience in ACI environments.
- Broader knowledge across networking technologies, including security, service provider, and enterprise domains.
- Familiarity with Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows Server).
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies.
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Ansible) are an advantage.
