Leading Insurance company based in Munich seeks a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of AI/ML solutions within AI Department with a focus on Claims value chain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI/ML, product management, and a deep understanding of the insurance claims process. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in a Southern European language is highly desirable.
Location: Remote
Occasional onsite presence might be required (particularly at the beginning to facilitate ramp up).
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for AI/ML solutions in the claims sector, ensuring alignment and managing communication with Management and Operating Entities.
- Lead a diversified team composed of data scientists, data engineers, solution architect to gather and prioritize requirements, define features, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Lead Agile development teams as the Product Owner, creating user stories, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Define KPIs and monitor product performance, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement (Power BI knowledge is a plus).
- Ensure that AI/ML solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigating risks associated with data privacy and security (GDPR knowledge in recommended)
- Proficiency in the usage of standard PM and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Tools)
